Morning - 9 hole Texas Scramble
Texas Scramble is a team event in which the whole team plays together. Each member of the team drives off from the tee. The team leader selects the best shot as the spot from which all take their second shot, beginning with the player whose ball is selected. This sequence continues until the hole is played out.
The team must select the tee shot of each player at least twice during the 9-hole round.
This is a medal event, so each hole must be putted out.
As you have as many attempts at each shot as the number of players in the team
(4 mostly), the handicap allowance is steep; the team handicap is 10% of the combined regular handicaps of the team members.
